Request a Training
The SSC has tons of skilled trainers all around the country who can offer specific trainings and work to tailor them to the needs of your group. If you are interested in bringing an SSC trainer to your school for anywhere from a day to a weekend, let us know.
We can also offer phone trainings if we don't have someone in your area. We will work with you to figure out what will best fit your needs. For in-person trainings, we do request that travel expenses for our trainer(s) be covered by your school or group. Fill out this form if you'd like to request a training from the SSC!
Bring an SSC Trainer to your campus!
Can't make it to one of our summer trainings? Or maybe you did, but want some help to train the rest of your group. We'll work with you to figure out what will work best for your group. Depending on how long of a training you want, we can craft an agenda that will conver multiple skill areas, based on the needs of your group.
Is a phone training right for you?
Sometimes it's hard to find the time to attend a conference during the school year or get people to commit a day or an entire weekend to atending a training. Or maybe you don't have funds to bring one of our trainers to you; phone trainings are a good alternative way of sharing skills and experiences. We can also offer a targeted, hour-long phone training on a specific skill.
We strongly encourage you to think about this as a leaderships development opportunity - get a group of people from your school to join the call together, have dinner before, stick around afterwards to discuss the call and how you want to apply the skills, etc. These calls are led by experienced student trainers - learn from your peers!
